Date Nut Rolls

Reserve a portion of the Oil-less bread dough.
1 1/2 c pitted dates
3/4 c chopped nuts
1 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 c water


Boil dates, water and lemon juice.  Mash until smooth.  Add nuts.  roll out the bread dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.  Spread date-nut mixture and roll as for a jelly roll.  Cut with a sharp knife, about 1/2 inch wide, and place flat on teflon cookie sheet.  Let rise until double in size.  Bak at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
