Lentil Patties

2 c. cooked lentils, pureed
1 onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 c bread crumbs or 2 1/2 c cooked brown rise
1/2 c walnuts, chopped fine
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sage
2 tbsp soy sauce
Nonfat milk, as needed


Combine all ingredients, except milk and mix well.  Add only enough milk to allow mixture to be formed into patties.  Place patties on cookie sheet and back 30 minutes at 325.  May be served with gravy.

  1. hmmm...this is one I might try although substituting soy milk.
