4 Cups flour
2 t Baking Powder
1 t salt
1 cups of boiling water
1 stick of oleo
Serves 12. Sift dry ingredients together. Add water & oleo. mix well. Cool. roll and cut into strips. Cook in beef or chicken broth. Use half of recipe enough for six.
This recipe says it is from the kitchen of Sylvia. Not sure which Sylvia. I love dumplings on top of vegetable beef stew. Perfect for a cold winter day.
I should compare this recipe to my dumpling recipe. I thinks it's pretty much the same.
